Kevin Durant has not gotten past the 2nd round since leaving the Warriors.
Kevin Durant has not gotten past the 2nd round of the NBA Playoffs since leaving the Golden State Warriors, but he has no regrets about his decision to leave.
In an interview with Melissa Rohlin of FOX Sports, Durant revealed a very candid reaction to his lack of success since leaving the Golden State Warriors.
“Hell, no,” Durant said. “I don’t regret anything I do. I don’t regret my time in the league because I feel like I maximize every day as a player. I feel like I get the most out of myself every time I step on the floor.”
Kevin Durant certainly does come off like a “no regrets” type of guy. He lives his basketball career very unapologetically, from joining the Warriors, to joining the Suns, and even how he tweets. If Durant was the type of player to have regrets, he would regret his entire career.
“So, it’s like regardless of the results and the wins and losses, I can live with that part of it,” Durant said. “I would never say anything I do is a failure. We could lose 82 games in a season, but if I come to work and every rep is done with intention and with force, every rep I can live with.”
